They're unusual shapes Ed - very nice! I contacted Roberto Rigon by the way but haven't, as yet, had a reply - did you try too?

Yes I had one reply from his son Danny , confirming he worked for bertoncello ,but no more replies ,Iam not sure if Roberto himself is still working

I agree , but I think they are more concerned about promoting their own business (naturally), I know he gave some of the vases names after his family , like A1 was" dany", the vase above dec 9th has what looks like 9/C as well as RR on the base , all his pieces with the RR on them don't have the feet on the base , but as you say it would be great to find out more about this company , Idid Email Mark Hill a while back through his blog site about them but I know he is very busy , ...hopefully we will find out more in the future

I am not keen on these , he did styalised animals , dragons etc , but his studio vases are in a different league ,Iam just not into figurines, people +animals models are just like so what , Ed

This is a very light coloured double cubed vase, I know they have done more colourful pieces but they are quite hard to find , I am waiting for a very colourful vase to arrive that I will post later

These two colours go quite well together , I have seen all red and all green are there any other colours anyone has seen

No the shape isn't rare , but I have never seen a coloured one before , I would have thought all the colourful glazes would have been everywhere , maybe the place closed in the 70's just before these took hold , I really don't know :con2:

Hi walter , I have contacted sergio bertoncello, and although from the same vinceza area , I do not think there is a conection with te bertoncello piecs that are shown on the betoncello thread ,the only connection have made positivley is with Roberto Rigon ,Ed
