ID Confirmation please ERIC LEAPER
I bought this carafe, goblets and tray set thinking Eric Leaper, would be grateful for any confirmation. None of the pieces are marked although one has a foil label from what I assume to be a gift shop. The telephone no. on the label is pre STD which I believe was fully rolled out by 1970 so presumably this would pre-date that. All suggestions etc much appreciated John

Re: Eric Leaper
My GF didn't even have a pottery collection before I came along.
Now she has a better collection of these small Bison than me.
She's recently picked up a Green glazed one to add to her collection.
Shown along with her other ones.
She wishes it had more green in the glaze, but you don't see many of them - so this will do for now.

rare Leaper Newlyn figurine
This has to be the most unusual Leaper piece I have seen, completely atypical in colour, method and style but clearly marked with the Leaper Newlyn signature.
Standing at 9 inches tall this piece seems to be a simple slab build or cut out from a rolled piece of clay.
many thanks to Lisa of chinafinda1 for donating these images

Quite extraordinary. Not to everyone's taste though.

Re: Eric Leaper
My first Leaper piece (or so I believe):
Anyone able to tell me anything about it please?
It's massive at around 17 inches wide and 13 inches tall.

Re: Eric Leaper
it looks like Bill Fisher designed this horse for Eric, it's very rare and possibly the best Leaper pottery we have seen on the forum

Re: Eric Leaper
Cheers Dan :)
It's a very grand piece in person, only trouble is finding room for it, currently it's on top of one of my bigger cabinets, but it could probably do with it's own stable!

Re: Eric Leaper
I have found a few odd looking Leaper pieces over the years but that one is nothing like any of the Leaper I have experienced.
Having said that the signature looks good
